A glimpse into my photography journey….

I live in the greatest town Nashville, TN. Im married to a wonderful man, Ben. Together we  have 1 little boy, Anderson, and 1 baby girl, London. We also had a sweet baby girl named Halle who now watches over us from heaven.

I was inspired to pick up my camera shortly after Anderson was born. I knew the time would pass so quickly and I wanted to remember all of life’s sweet details.  I began studying photography. I read everything I could get my hands on and practiced practiced practiced! At first it was just a hobby but it didn’t take long before photography became my passion and a full time job. I quit my job as a NICU nurse when my son was 5 months old to stay home with him and pursue photography.

I got pregnant with Halle when Anderson was only 10 months old. We were thrilled to be having a baby girl! At 28 weeks she was born early and died 11 days later. Losing our little girl was the hardest and most heartbreaking thing we have gone through as a family. From that experience I have learned to savor each moment in life and recognize how valuable each day is. Time is something we always think we have more of. The reality is- sometimes it runs out before we are ready. I now have even more of a passion for photographing children and families!

6 months after Halle passed away I became pregnant with another baby girl. London was born in November of 2016. She is quite the little blessing. God knew exactly how to help heal my broken heart.

I love to shoot in natural light. Light is what makes a photograph sparkle. I started using light as a way to represent our daughter that passed away in my photos. The light brings me such joy and peace.

I am honored to say I am currently a partnered with CanonUSA on their Co-Create campaign. I have always used Canon gear so this partnership is truly a dream come true.

I also love to collaborate with brands online/Instagram who want to give their content a magical element!
